Well, you can understood this pic in many ways. But the main thing is that it looks powerfull - if some priest should get to the first floor, he would have to go all the way round to reach the bottom, but who cares...
Nice job with your pic. I am very impressed. All the detail and time spent with this concept. The dragon is impressive as well. Nice job and keeping all the differnt shades from mudding up and mixing with all the rest. The man pulling his sword is well done. Though his sword seems to be at the wrong angle for being able to pull it out with ease. I am wondering what size of tablet you used. The steps to the skull door are also very impessive. Nice work.
Hi and thanx a lot. Yes, this took really great time: it is not drawn on tablet, but on the pretty big paper like 1m x Something. I scanned it and painted in Photoshop later, and maybe I'll upload that pic also. As with the sword, I think that the hand may be too "twisted" to reach it in the first place
I really enjoyed pouring over every little detail in your artwork. Its like each line held a bit of the story and subtle side stories. It would be nice if you uploaded the painted verson. I like comparing the differnt qaulities in before and after color is added. both pictures I have noticed in others sites have neat effects uncolored and colord.
So then I will. I painted it in Photoshop so I guess it goes under digital art or something. But because I don't have a tablet yet (any suggestions? first thing to buy) it was really painfull. I have a problem with coloring because it always turns very bright - it is not bad, bad I would like once to paint it to look like I don't know - oil on canvas
yikes. I don't know any sugestions. I have only sucessfully colored one pic with the pc. I am not good at that myself. But I did take one of my art works to a local printing shop and had the image put on canvas. Now all I have to do is oil paint it. Don't know what it will looking like. I have never oil panted. *chuckles* But who knows. And tablet wise. I have mess with a very very tiny one. It was a pain and horrible If you wish a tablet. I would suguest the huge expesive ones. *grins* At least one that is 12x14 range. Good luck.
